Skill Acquired is a personal finance management platform. It helps you import and categorize bank transactions, track budgets, debts, and subscriptions, and get AI-powered categorization and financial insights.
Skill Acquired is not a financial advisor, bank, or investment platform. AI suggestions are informational only. We do not provide financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.
To use Skill Acquired, you need an account. You agree to:
You are responsible for all activity under your account. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized use of your credentials.
You own your financial data. By using Skill Acquired, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the service. We will never sell your data, use it for advertising, share it with other users, or use it to train AI models.
You can export your data at any time and delete your account to remove all stored data permanently. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Skill Acquired uses AI (powered by Anthropic's API) for transaction categorization and an AI chat assistant. By using these features, you acknowledge:

Violation may result in account suspension or termination.
Skill Acquired processes the data you provide. We do our best to categorize and calculate accurately, but transaction categorization may contain errors, budget calculations depend on the data you import, debt payoff projections are estimates, and we do not verify the accuracy of bank statements you upload. You are responsible for reviewing your data.
The Skill Acquired Amazon Scraper is an optional Chrome extension that extracts your Amazon order history for budget tracking. The extension runs locally in your browser. Order data is not sent to our servers during scraping. You export a CSV file which you then upload voluntarily. Amazon's terms of service may apply to how you use your own order data. The scraper may break if Amazon changes their website structure.
We strive to keep Skill Acquired available, but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or unexpected technical problems.
Skill Acquired is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skill Acquired shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including financial losses from reliance on AI suggestions, data loss due to service interruptions, unauthorized account access where you did not take reasonable precautions, or errors in categorization or calculations.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
The Skill Acquired platform, including its design, code, and original content, is the property of Skill Acquired. Community-contributed themes are user-generated. Skill Acquired does not claim ownership of third-party intellectual property.
You can delete your account at any time. All data is permanently removed. We may suspend or terminate your account for terms violations, but will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data first (except in cases of severe abuse).
We may update these terms. When we make material changes, we will notify you at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you can export your data and delete your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States.
